The amazing contrasts of the landscape and breath-taking
natural beauty of Kenya must be experienced to be believed. The miles
upon miles of white sandy beaches are kissed by crystal clear, turquoise
waters protected by one of the world's longest coral reef, which runs
almost the entire length of the Kenya coast. Kenya's eastern boundary
is an unbroken line of blue, an azure strip of ocean lying within the
protective shelter of reef.
From this most beautiful spot on earth, we organize a full day excursion
to Kilifi which includes the following activities:-
- Visit Nyari area in Kilifi and see where a whole village, fully inhabited by people and livestock then, was swallowed by the earth and disappeared without trace. To-date, no one has been able to fully explain this phenomenon or the bizarre events that took place that night many years ago!
- Take a boat ride up the Kilifi creek and visit the original home of the Giriama people who still live there and practice their traditional way of living.
- Take a most spectacular bird watching trip up the Kilifi creek and watch thousands of birds flying around and also nestled in the caves and habitat around the creek.
Pick up will be in the early morning (0600 hrs) from your hotel or self catering cottage and you will be dropped back in the late afternoon / early evening hours in time to freshen up and have dinner at your hotel.
