Mombasa is the second largest city in Kenya. It has a major port and an international airport. The city is the centre of the coastal tourism
industry.
There are many businesses and service providers plying
their trade within the city center and the immediate suburbs. Biashara Street
in Mombasa, which in Swahili means “Trade Street”, forms an old part
of the city where the Indian and Arab merchants set up shop many years ago and one
can now find kangas and kikoys being sold in these small authentic shops.
